Pinay Jade – Pinay is a slang word for Filipina and Jade …is my name. I was born and raised in Manila.

I am married to a wonderful dutch man for over six almost 9 years now and  I am also dutch by nationality but still Pinay at heart. I have lived more than 4 years in Holland.

When my husband was offered to move to Singapore in March 2007 – we did not hesitate at all. It was perfect, we were getting tired of Holland’s grey skies and high taxes. We made the move.

I am originally from the Philippines hence the name Pinay Blogger. Pinay is a slang word for Filipina.

I started blogging in January 2008. I was inspired by people who made a living out of blogging so I am going to try it out for myself. .

I enjoy learning about all kind of things.

I have always been the Artsy Fartsy type. I made jeweleries in the past and sold it at Ebay. I did enjoy that alot and made good money.  But sales went down since I move here to Asia so I turned to blogging in January 2008. Once I started … I totally got hooked. I enjoy it alot and have met so many wonderful people and learned a lot of things at the same time.

I am always eager to learn new things and tend to get addicted when I enjoy it
