An acquaintance of mine is trying to open a bank account but was not successful in her pursuit. You see in the Philippines, before you can open a bank account, you first have to do a dance…. 
just kidding.
But seriously, they have so much requirements here, it’s like they don’t want you to open an account with them. First you have to show them 3 different identification cards with a photo and signature, and if you are unlucky, they might even require you to show a proof of address like an electric bill or a phone bill. Apart from that, you also have need to provide i.d. pictures.
I always keep all the identification cards and documents I have acquired throughout my life so showing them i.d.s is no problem for me at all.
Can you imagine what they would require you to show if you apply for a credit card ?
