The building of our house is in full speed. My brother-in-law is doing a pretty good job in managing the whole operation. The photo below is the storage (bodega), it’s almost finished so I think by the time the shipement of our stuff from Singapore arrives there, we could already use it.
A month ago, I was busy looking around and calling furniture makers in Palawan to inquire about hardwood Door Furniture. We were hoping to have the doors made in mahogany but I couldn’t find one that makes them. They only had Ipil or narra doors. Ipil is one of the hardest wood there is in the Philippines so we just went ahead and placed the order for the doors. I am sure the ipil door will be good. It will be there for generations.
We discussed for quite a while about what type of door is it gonna be, at first we were thinking of 
having Sliding door but after considering the complexity in having it built in the house we decided to just go with a normal abaniko door, meaning one that sways. I also wanted a door like this but it cost so much more so we just opted for a the classic designs. Anyway, the house is already very unique so having the door look simple should be okay.
