I have seen ropes all throughout my life. It is used for so many things like you will probably have a coil of braided nylon rope hanging on the garage wall, some use it as a rope fence to keep the kids in the playground, or a cordage leash tying a bull mastiff to a fencepost in a neighbor’s garden. Rope are also very popular to use in all kinds of fun activities like the manila climbing ropes or as tug-o-war ropes.
For the sinister ones, rope is traditionally used for gallows – so speaking for itself ropes are very strong and durable.

But did you know that you have other ways of using rope? I’ve been seeing people use it as art decoration just like Barbara Merry – an artist who works exclusively with this kind of cord and creates traditional decorative and practical boating accessories.

And The Kashal Art Studio, who makes unique, custom made coffee tables inspired by the Great Lakeshave wrapped their Lake Erie table in manila rope for a very stunning effect.

Amazing right?
It is very inspiring to see a simple boring table turned into a work of art by adding a simple rope. To be honest, I got inspired and will definitely use rope in adding final touch to the home we are planning to build in the Philippines.
Did I spark the artsy fartsy in you? If the answer is yes , do visit Phoenix Rope & Cordage, they are specializing in hard to find custom rope.
