sa lahat ng korean, sya na siguro ang kauna unahang hahangaan ko. im not really fond of kpop and i love my country so much. and yes, hes right, a lot of us are really not patriotic. just see those teens rushing about a foreign band. mag iipon yan para lang maka panuod sa kanila but never even thought of watching our own. sad. its just sad.

I’m filipino from cebu. i agree with your utmost insights against our f****** philippine economic situation. All of these were caused by greed. I can’t pin point who were the culprit why we are in the f****** situation, is it the filipino people or the filipino politicians or the filipino culture or only the bad greedy filipino individuals? Our government officials have no plan to our future beloved country, everything is a mess in the philippines! Filipinos need a true great leader who is very honest to help our country and filipino people must cooperate each other for the sake of economic success to benefit all the people in the philippines. In fact the first president named Emilio Aguinaldo is a damned first corrupt filipino politician! As a filipino, I don’t give him an honor to be a hero. He is a damned shit origin of philippine corruption that had been escalated till present! As an OFW working overseas, I want to share a sad comment from my non-filipino colleagues ,” they asked me why your country is so poor and dis-organized? philippines are rich in natural resources and most filipino are well educated; and besides this, philippines are an English speaking country and easy to learn the new technologies and do our own branded products, are filipino lazy or what? something wrong in your culture dude!..” I almost drop my bloody tears after i heard the sad comment in my country, and I don’t know who will be blamed the filipino people or political leaders??? Now I observed and realized that Korean people are very patriotic and they give a full concern in their country, so that’s why they flourished after a longstanding struggle of survival starting from 1900′s! I don’t know why we filipino having a hard time to understand to other culture and we want our norms will be the norms in the entire world which is impossible. What we believe that we are always right and should be followed by the rest of the world. In conclusion, we filipinos are greedy,tactless and conceited showing that we are proud to be a filipino but we do nothing at all, no sense nationalism, we always think as only an individual. Sorry, to say im a filipino but im not proud to be a filipino and i hate filipino culture!!! that’s it!!!

im a pure filipino. hey mel not all filipinos are smart! in general most filipino are lazy, they love to sleep always, they love to eating delicious foods always , does not want to spend effort for future advantages, love to standby(estambay), happy go lucky, greedy, extreme envy, great pretender.. so on… These are the filipinos who where in philippines but the filipinos outside philippines were different! Like what Hilary Clinton said smart and hard working! We filipinos are not yet matured in terms of politics to harness our bad polical traits or to improve our economic status. Filipino political matter is in a form of greed! They want philippines to be independent from america so that they can corrupt freely with their political great powers and to deceive filipino people! I rather to choose the philippines that will be conquered AGAIN by spanish or americans and kill brutally the greedy filipino politicians! just remember our business cycle and education system is in backward cycle without concerning our future advantages. sorry to all fellow filipinos this what i can say deeply from my heart! Pls open up your eyes brother filipinos.. JUST REMEMBER OUR COUNTRY IS VERY POOR NATION AND OVER POPULATED!

Im not sure if most of you agree that filipinos will nice if governed by foreign country such as USA or Spain?..

Our situation will escalate to our future generation forvever…

Hilary Cllinton said that Filipinos are smart and hardworking. I believe on that. You guys need to be proud of our country. Many Filipinos train many foreign people to study English. You know what I am a missionary and I also teach English for young Korean missionaries . They will later be sent all over the world to be an effective missionaries and leaders too. . Many Koreans are benefited because of Filipinos. No doubt about that. What do you think?

Hello everyone!

I like all your comments and everything about Filipinos and the Philippines..Actually I am born Filipino and I will be forever with my entire life. I am also Christian. But sad thing to say, I lost my faith going to church for the sake that GOD answer whatever we asked for. Nothing is more perfect than achieving something we wanted by working it out. For Catholics who might read this comment no offend GUYS!!! I am catholic…my mom and sister always go to church every Sunday and every other days…but as what I said I don’t believe its God who work for us…It’s US who works for OURSELVES with the teachings incurred by catholic belief to guide us…I don’t like PRAYING but I call God and I believe on Him…

Also, about CORRUPTION in the Philippines? There’s nothing we can do about it…LOL! That’s a real FACT!!! and that’s a big “WHAT THE F***”…I always dream that hopefully one day when I wake up, I am in a Paradise Philippines… Many say that Filipinos are patriotic? Damn! Hell no! Only some… Many are still having the what we so called “manyana habit”…Filipino attitude that should be eradicated…and that’s what you can see as well about the Government…Always making promises….I don’t like promises because they are bound to be broken…I want action not just a PROMISE!!!

Actually, I envy you Korean people…you are diligent and more focus on things you want to work…though I can’t understand you sometimes, maybe because of cultural differences and language barrier but still you guys were GREAT!..Aside from having that white glowing skin, pretty face for women (which i like most), etc… I can’t enumerate all things good about you guys…coz honestly I’m still trying to figure it out…(with my Korean GirlFriend)…LOL! Right now and then, I’m using the internet to read Korean culture especially having a relationship coz I wanna make sure my girl get the experience she wanted from any guy…I am not rich…I don’t have much money for special gifts like Louis V or something… So the only best thing I could offer to her is “MYSELF”…and I learned based on what I read that having a relationship for Koreans must be a SECRET?…Oh my!..I might understand somehow but I am feeling the pressure..Starting to feel it because there’s no secret not revealed…

Jade you said “LOVE” is very important for Koreans…me too, that’s of high importance***…Love for self, parents, siblings, especial someone, and everything…I just hope everything will be fine…

And GUYS!!!! give me your advises…I need them Badly!!! =(

I agree. I’m a Filipino, our professor used to joke around, without pay are you willing to die for your country? This question is boggling in my mind from then on because I could even have second thoughts about this. But still behind all these accusations of some, I am still very proud to be a Filipino, and I will always be. Its not the state of living we are in but its our pride on the other aspects just like tradition and such.

Filipino blood is not pure mixed with foreign blood causing disastrous mutation of human kind!
