I don’t know if I have already told you but my hubby is going to retire early. He has a lot of 
stuff planned. Recently he has caught the cooking bug. He’s totally obsessed with cooking. He has already taken over the role of cooking here at home and I am totally fine with it as I don’t have much energy to do anything lately anyway, blame it on the pregnancy hormones.
He spends hours searching the web for all kinds of recipes, making copies of them, and trying some out. At home we are often tuned in at the Asian Food Channel (AFC). Watching this channel is bad, as it makes us want to eat more!
He also looked at the cooking utensils that I have collected through the years and he decided that we are missing important tools used by REAL chefs!! He has been telling me that we need a temperature thingy and a kitchen timer. I bought him the temperature thing but I said the timer isn’t really 
needed as he could use his watch or our clock. He insisted he needs one! So off we go to search for the bloody timer :p!
We looked at shops in at least 10 malls but we couldn’t find one that is affordable (meaning less than $10). I told him we will look at the $1 dollar type of store one of these days. Then one day, we were at the mall to watch a movie but still had some time before it starts. We went to the department store and browsed a bit. Well what do you know….we found a kitchen timer for $5! We bought it and we have a happy boy 
At the time of writing this he is using it while he’s making me a pancake.
For our house on the farm, he wants to set up a barbecue pit, a smoker, a pizza oven apart from the our kitchen. He’s gonna be busy!

Jade with all those recipes and farm appliances he’s gonna cook up a treat for you. Pancakes and pizza…he may have to set up a running track as well to burn off all those calories.
