I cannot believe it took us a year of living in Singapore to try out laksa. Once we tasted it, there was no going back! We were hooked. Roxy Laksa is one of the very best laksa I have eaten so far.

We always order a $4 bowl of laksa which is just enough for me. The smell is just delightful right from the moment our Laksa lady hands it over to us. Generous servings of fish cakes and prawns complements the delicious noodles. The shrimp is always so fresh! Mmmmmm… and the gravy oh la la! I am sorry I am already salivating here. I did try it with cockles in the beginning, but that didn’t work out for me. I prefer it without.

Price: $3, $4, $5

Address:
1220 East Coast Parkway
Stall 48 East Coast Lagoon Food Village

Opening Time:
Mon-Fri: 10.30am – 9.00pm
Wednesday : 10:30 – 1:00 pm
W’ends & PH: 8.30am – 9.00pm

This is a definitely must try if you visit Singapore!

You should try Katong Laksa. I prefer that. There is no good Penang Laksa here in Singapore. I love that when I was in Penang.

A very dangrous business show laksa where most readers are dropped over a laptop or PC. Bound to cause short-curcuits in many cases. Siliva and electric don’t mix. lol

ps thanks for you comment on my blog

One of my favourite food when I was younger. I could basically eat that every meals. I would also like to add more chili to my laksa. But I will only eat laksa once in a while these days; it can be pretty sinful. :)

You mention gravy, fishcakes and shrimps, that sounds like a winner in my language. I doubt I will ever make it to Singapore but if I do I’ll give it a go.
