Last weekend, hubby and I went out to search for the best faucet for our home that we will be building very soon. We hard a hard time finding one that really suit our needs. I wanted one that has a pull out spray, and also one that would last long and has a stylish look as well like this Hansgrohe faucet I saw online.

I will spend some more time looking for faucets locally… I know I will find it somehow.

Jade , I have lived in Thailand for 5 years and when we came here we bought a modest Thai home and did a little remodeling to make it comfortable for us, our home is very comfortable and does not stand out as a show place or something out of America or Singapore dropped out of the sky into a little poor Thai village , we fit right in and the neighbors and kids in the village look at us as a part of the village life , not a walking atm machine or hi-sho farang , trying to show everyone how richhhhhhh we are ,.And we don’t walk around giving out little handouts to the kids , for doing chores for us. I watch people who go away and come back to Thailand after making lots of money and buying the land for pennies and building ,huge homes way beyond the means of their neighbors and wonder what they were thinking and are thinking when they have so much and their neighbors have so little . I wouldn’t worry so much about which facet to get , just get one that gets water from the pipe to your sink , most of you family ,friends and neighbors will be dipping water out of a big rain barrell with a little plastic cup,in a poor village where you are going to build you new home, why in the world do you need a stylish facet . thats my say , remember you’re moving back home to a very poor country and you were once just like those kids running around with their hands out for a few pennies , and a hand out from the RICH people, I love reading your blog , but sometimes it reads like someone holding their good fortune up for the world to see. and some of the tv soaps that my wife watches . @ M – The village where we will live in the future likes the fact that we bring something to the community and that is income/ jobs. Jobs that they need very much to send their children to school, to bring food on their table.
We do support the local school as well in some of their needs because we believe that the children are our future. And we can afford to help.
As for our house, I don’t know if it’s big or not but we are building a house that will be passed to generations. We don’t live our lives according to what other people think – we do what we think is good for us. For you maybe we are some rich showy people, I don’t think you really know us and I think it’s really rude to judge people you don’t know at all.
I am not showing off good fortune to the world, I am merely sharing my thoughts and maybe as a woman I could be vain sometime but hey this is my blog so I can be vain as much as I want to
