@ Napaboaniya APAD – Ohh that’s sad. I thought that big trees had lightning protection…atleast that’s what I have seen in the big ones.

@ eastcoastlife – Yeah heh. I feel like an ant next to a giant. I love going to the botanical garden with my hubby on weekends- so refreshing to be around trees.

Those are giants! What kind of trees are they?
Have you seen the redwoods in California? You can drive through one of them.

@ lala – It’s really impressive when I saw it! I am glad they managed to preserve it. I am also building my own forest in the Philippines – I might not see it that big but at least my future children and grandchildren will.

Awesome trees! I saw some trees like that in Crecent City, CA. You know, the Red Woods. Utah trees just don’t seem that great after seeing those!

I’ve been to Singapore twice but never been to this botanical garden. I’ll make sure to visit there the next time we drop by. They say that Singapore is known as the Garden City. And those trees are really huge!

I live in California. Home of the Redwoods and Sequoia trees. Now those are some big trees.

BTW. Is that you hugging the trees? you look too cute.

Reply

Jade March 11, 2009 at 12:20 pm

@ Chris R – It must be nice to those redwoods. I hope to see them someday. Yep that’s me hugging trees. And I have plenty more to hug here at our treefarm. I hope for them to get as big as the ones I have hugged.
