We are moving! We needed a change of scenery and the house we are renting right now is just too big for 2 people. It has 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms! It did serve its purpose for accommodating our guests last year but it’s so far from everything and the pre -school in front of us has crying children all the time and wakes us up really early in the morning. One child starts to cry, another one follows and before you know it all are crying including the teachers! They would scream on the top of their lungs competing with each other.
Anyway, I know that moving can be quite stressful but I am sure it would be a rewarding experience as well. We started looking for a new house in the first week of January. I scheduled several house hunting dates on January 4th and saw a few that are big enough to fit our furniture we brought all the way from Europe. Bringing so much stuff is actually a big mistake, we should have just left most of it but you know me I have a hard time letting go!
We already found an ideal place, it’s a condominium nearby the Eastcoast park where we love to go and eat. Our soon-to-be place has an ocean view, swimming pool view and a part city view as well. What’s great about living in a condo is the
amenities like the swimming pool, gym, sauna, running track; so maybe I could finally fulfill my recurring resolution which is to lose some weight.
We specifically looked for an unfurnished apartment since we have our own stuff. I might look for an office table for myself to set up a proper home office. I am sure there are lots of shops with discount furniture after the holidays – I won’t be needing an expensive table anyway.
I need to start planning and get as organized as possible in order to have an smooth transition.

Good luck with the move. It can be hard work, but like you said it can be rewarding too. I hate to move, but if I could move to somewhere as nice as you describe then I would be excited. Good luck.
