Look what we harvested from our vegetable garden! 5 kilos of eggplants. It’s such a nice feeling to harvest from what you have sowed.
You might be wondering how I did it with a little munchkin to take care of and a household to run, well I didn’t do it all by myself, my garden angel Jelly helped me with planting it. She has helped me with collecting plants that I want and planting them since I don’t have much time yet.
What do we do with so much eggplants anyway? Well we make eggplant salad, eggplant omelet (tortang talong) sometimes I mix it with ginisang munngo too. What I haven’t tried is eggplant tempura, I think I am gonna do that this week. I’ll post these eggplant recipes on my food blog soon.
When we have too much, my garden angel brings it to the village market to sell. Lots of the villagers love our eggplants and sometimes it’s gone even before it reaches the market 
. I think we’ll add more plants in a few months to keep up with the demand.
The tomatoes I planted are now gone. They only bear fruits once but I planted a new batch, hopefully they will bear fruits soon. I love having fresh produce right at my doorstep.
Our papaya trees also have fruits now, soon I would have so much I would need to make Atchara nonstop.

Sean is 8 months old and 2 weeks ++! Wow right? We stopped with solids for a bit because he was throwing up a lot but we are now back on it again. He loves cookies and gets mad when I try to take it.
He’s crawling and sofa walking (walking while holding on to the sofa) and doing all kinds of antics. He’s really on the move now. When he’s on the floor and he sees something he want, he would crawl to the thing as fast as he can. It’s really funny how so determined he is. I just love seeing him grow. Soon he will be running around and I will run after him all the time, perfect way to lose all these extra kilos no need for fat burners.
Being a mom is not as easy as I thought it would be, no more going out whenever we feel like, no going to the salon for hair treatment … but I tell you this is the best experience I have ever had in my life and I love every moment of it.
Tonight he fell asleep on his own! Wow wow wow! It’s like a miracle

August I think is the month of online giveaways. I think I might have joined more than 10 giveaways ( I lost track already of how many actually) and I myself have three giveaways for my readers. The prizes I am giving away is cash & vouchers, Pearl jewelry set and an ivory necklace. I love having giveaways even if it’s such a hassle at the end when participants don’t quite follow all the steps you require them to do.
I think if you join a contest, you ought to follow the rules otherwise don’t bother joining. Anyways, this will not stop me from holding online giveaways – I am even thinking of giving away some reallyt funny shirts in my upcoming giveaway.
