How was your weekend people? Mine was relaxed. I usually stop my blogging activity on Friday afternoon to spend some time on other things like leisure, family and chores so I hope you understand if I cannot get back to your questions right away or publish your comments. Rest assure it will appear when I log on again.
So let’s have a lookback on my last couple of weeks, shall we?
I still wish we had more time in the Philippines, next time I will probably come earlier so that I can get some things I planned started. We only had a day in Manila so I made sure I meet up with my handsomA brother – Jamelle. We don’t have much time so I just asked him to come to Renaissance hotel , good that it wasn’t very far from where he works. I like staying in Renaissance because it’s very close to the malls. And of course because we stay there for free
thanks to the points we have at Marriotts.
We had a wonderful dinner at Itallianis. I love the the olive oil dip they have for the bread that they serve in the beginning while you wait for your food. The address is below in case you are yearning for some Italian food:
Greenbelt 2, Ayala Center | Makati, Manila, Luzon, Philippines

My brother is a registered killer I mean nurse and yet he works as a call center agent. He’s reasoning, he would hardly earn working as a nurse. Ayah… I just let him be, it’s his life anyway. My brother and I don’t always get along…like I remember a year ago or so, we had a terrible fight and I told my mom I didn’t wanna see him again.
The reason – because he was disrespecting my mom. He was not replying when my mom asks him a question and he’s always in a foul mood. He was just impossible to live with at that time. It was most probably due to the stress of his last year in college – he had on-job-trainings, board exam but to me it doesn’t matter if you have a lot in your mind, that’s no excuse to show disrespect to our mother. She has done so much for us and she does not deserve any of that.
Anyway, the reason why I remembered that is because my hubby have helped us sort out the problem in the very same hotel. I asked my mom to have dinner with us but being the mother she is, she wanted us to patch things up and brought my brother with her. My husband know that there’s tension. He spoke with my brother and asked him the right questions. My brother still has to grow up and I know he will in his time. We are okay now and I hope that it stays that way.
The next day, we flew to Palawan. Boy, it was very very hot!
Oh if you are also a reader of my other blog MommaWannabe, you might have read my goal for 2009 where I said that I want to meet a blogger friend in person.
Well I did met one. I met this jovial girl named Rosa through my friend Makoy’s contest and found out that she is living in Palawan. I sent her a message and told her I will be living there too in the future. We instantly hit it off and chat regularly.

We decided to meet up at Puerto Princesa – the capital of Palawan. It was nice to finally meet a blogger friend. We chit chatted and had lunch at a vegetarian restaurant. Rosa and her family are vegans.
Rosa has a very cute girl with a wonderful name to go by too – Inna Veronica. Ahh makes me yearn for a child more.
Btw, Rosa is one of the participant of Bhabhiejhoice-xoxo.net 1srt ever contest. She’s asking help by posting an article saying you’ll support her to win this contest. I am here showing my support for her.
If you want to help her, you can help her by posting an article showing you’ll supporting her on this contest.

your brother is a nurse? i think its better if he just work as a nurse cause he can get high salary too if he works in abroad right? but yeah it’s his own life, hehe! Oh i wanna go to Palawan too. I heard so many good reviews about that place.
