Hi guys! I am back in the modern world again. The two week vacation at our farm was just what I needed after the incident that happened to me last month. For those who don’t know, I had a miscarriage last month. It was a terrible experience I hope no one has to endure.
Not only was it emotionally draining but it is also very costly. So days after what happened, I started looking for some health insurance that covers maternity. I did found several ones that are suited for expats but they were all very pricey. Since I was going to the Philippines, I went to Philhealth and see what they offer. It is a pretty simple insurance but I think it would do.
I mentioned what happened to me to my cousin who’s living in the US. She told me she also try to be prepared at all times and that she just had bought short term health insurance NC. I think it’s wise to always be prepared.
We will be trying again when my body is back to normal and now I made sure that I am prepared for whatever might happen.
I will tell you about my vacation on the coming weeks, for now I need to catch up on some laundry!

Hi Jade! I’m sorry to hear about that sad news of your miscarriage! I hope you have fully recovered, physically and emotionally. That’s quite upsetting but don’t lose hope. Just keep the faith!
I am so sorry to hear that. I had miscarriage twice too but in Gods grace finally i have a 3 yr. old son. I know in Gods time you will have yours too. I will pray for you.
