Buying Materials and Groceries

by Admin on September 15, 2010

Sometimes I get a little bit impatient on how primitive or slow things are here where I live. Slow in the sense that things I need to do or want to do takes a bit longer to accomplish than I am used to.

For example if we buy materials for the construction of our house in the hardware here, what we need is either out of stock or they don’t sell it at all. Same goes for the groceries. We would need to go to the capital of the province which is 2 hours away to buy these items that we cannot buy here.

And another problem is finding where this certain item is. Since they don’t have POS systems here, it takes so long to locate their stock.

I probably still need to get accustomed to the way of living here. I am sure I’ll get to that point in the near future.
