September’s about to end soon and it will be October in no time. Time passes by so quickly. Now at this time of the year, my longing for my home country (and my family of course) escalates. I wish I can be there this coming Christmas season. For now all I can do is do some serious chocolate shopping and sent it to them. I wish I can hand it personally to them. Although it’s too early to tell, I don’t think going home this Holiday is feasible as we are gonna TTC ( Try to conceive) again.
I have two reasons to shop for chocolate candies (as soon as I can), one is the coming Halloween and another is for Christmas give away. I heard from my aunts that trick and treating is now gaining popularity in the Philippines. For sure, chocolate candies is a must treat. I know it would be fun handling out candies to kids wearing different (scary, cute, hero) costumes. My family sent me some Halloween pictures from their last year’s trick and treating. I did not recognized my nephews and my nieces, they sure do put some effort to dress up. It was hilarious to see that even my cousins dress up for that event. Now that makes me wish harder that I am there to witness it.
Christmas to me will never be complete without chocolates and candies. I grew up knowing Toblerone, Hershey’s, Twix, Cadbury and all kinds of chocolates during the Holidays. It was a tradition for us. And I know that this tradition is still intact. I am really glad that I found some cool chocolate candy stores like SugarStand. They offer a wide variety of candies and chocolates. You can look for your favorite chocolate brand and you won’t be disappointed.
