Changes in the Farm

by Jade on September 8, 2009

I have talked about our tree farm several times and we recently went there to take a break from the busy and stressful life in Singapore. I have been back for a week now and I must say I miss our farms already.

There are lots of things going on there and I wish I was there to see every bit of change that takes place.

Some of the changes that took place since and while we were there:

April- plan of buidling the bridge

bridge before

August – bridge was finished

bridge after

More Places to chill where put in place

tree benches

rest area

It was finished the same morning, big applause to our staff!!! Galing talaga nila! ( They are amazing!)

We are lucky to have found talented and hardworking people for our farm, without them it wouldn’t look as nice as it looks now.

Besides from the physical changes in our farm, we have also welcomed some new farm residents, and I am pleased to introduce to you:

Malakas, our water buffalo ( Kalabaw) !

Malakas
Malakas is still quite young but very very strong. He will be with us for many many years for sure.

And some of our babies, Dina and Dino

Baby Goat Dina and Dino

Our Bahay Kubo (Temporary Home while our house is still being built)
our cottage sideview

This will probably become a guesthouse when our house is finally built.

I miss the food, our Bahay Kubo kahit munti, the people and the simplicity of it all. If I were to choose between Vegas vacations and going to our farm, I would choose the latter in a heartbeat!!!

The shoe cables a repent reward near the visible.

Just looking at your nipa hut made me miss home. I always love the serenity by just looking at it. I would love to retire in a place like this. A very simple place.

Oi, thanks pala sa visit mo sa friendster. Now I know your real name :P …add me if you like, kc open naman yun for everyone. However, I don’t hang there much anymore.
