Got Milk?

by Jade on February 20, 2011

I breastfeed Sean and give him formula too because there are times when he’s not latching properly due to being tongue tied ( I’ll tell you about it in another post). I was worried that my milk supply is running out because my breasts don’t feel so full as it used to.

It’s probably because I give him formula more often than before. I want to continue giving him breastmilk as long as possible so I searched online how to increase breast milk production. I learned that if I just continue pumping, my body would try keep up with the demand and produce more milk. I will also try to drink more liquids and eat foods that help with the milk production like malunggay, sweet potato and oatmeal.

You are right, just pump it out and you can save it in the fridge or after you pumped it you can transfer it in a bottle and let him drink it instead of the formula.
