It’s amazing how time flies so quickly and each year is another year full of adventures. I cannot believe we’re almost a year here in Singapore. We moved here in the beginning March 2007. It was a good decision to move back to Asia. We just love it here.
Weather is great…it was pretty hot when we came here and we were sweating like pigs but that’s ok. Food is great. I don’t cook here. We just go out to eat at different food courts or hawkers. It’s just not practical to cook for two people coz there would always be left overs and come on let’s admit it’s mostly forgotten in the fridge. Lots of malls here, and SALES of course. I think there’a ALWAYS sales here.
In the Netherlands, you’ll be freezing your butt off at this time of year. Netherlands is beautiful during spring time. Lots of tulips and flowers everywhere. I also have learned to love eating Haring ( herring). It’s like a delicacy to them. It’s actually just raw fish eaten with some onions. I have lived in The Netherlands for about four years. I learned dutch and met some great filipino and dutch friends and a few others from school with different nationalities. It was quite multi cultural there like here in Singapore.
