Hubby has been crazy about cooking lately and it’s only good news for me . It’s not that I don’t like to cook, it’s just that the past months most of my time is spent taking care of Sean.
I thank the numerous cooking shows we have nowadays on tv because watching them sparked my hubby’s interest in cooking. And the great thing is he really cooks good. No wonder why I don’t lose the extra kilos I gained from my pregnancy!
When we decided to move to the Palawan, I thought I won’t be able to eat dishes that we only ate in restaurants when we were living in Singapore.
Now whenever we want to eat something special, all I need to do is ask my chef at home to make it for me
. So far, hubby has extremely successfully made beefsteak pizza, foccacia, naan bread, french bread and pies among other things.
Do you watch Junior Masterchef ? We do and we are amazed how easy it is for the kids of 8 to 13 years old whip up a dish, sometimes even dishes that they haven’t eaten before and they even make their pasta from scratch! So I thought, if these kids could make pasta from scratch, we ( read: hubby) could certainly do that too so I bought a pasta maker for him so he can make pasta from scrtach
. I can’t wait to eat that …yum yum yum. I am already drooling!
