On the second part of this year we will be definitely moving to our farm in the Philippines and we are very much looking forward to it . We will be staying at our guesthouse till our house is done.
It looks very homey now and sometimes I think to myself, we could also just live here and not build the other house but then again we will have kids later on and this house might not be big enough.
As you can see, the guesthouse has been varnished and it has now plants around it. We gave the farm kids some job so that they can earn some pocket money.
Days in the farm are hot. You would sweat like a pig if you walk around there but the mornings are very cold so an electric blanket or any blanket at all will be very useful.

Oi, ang ganda naman. Talagang very local ang dating and it looks like you don’t have electricity either or maybe I am not seeing the wires.
@ nedekcir – Uu sarap talaga tumira sa bahay kubo. We do have electricity there. We originally planned to have solar power but it is still quite expensive ngayun…maybe in the future pag mejo affordable na.
How I yearn to live on a farm too! Your guest house looks cosy and comfy. I have yet to meet up with you in Singapore and you ae moving away! *sad*
@ eastcoastlife – Well you could always visit us ECL. Maybe you can rent a guesthouse with us in the future and experience farm living

Living in a farm would be a great idea and good place to raise your kids. You feel safe for them and they will enjoy playing outside without worrying of any bad things to happen. I love you farm jade.
My hubby and I really plan to settle in a farm.. hopefully soon… I look forward to a laid back lifestyle… can’t wait!
