No this is not our house yet, this is the bodega or storage building.
The garage slash bodega is the first building to be built because we have acquired a lot of stuff in the last 7 years so we need place to store our them when we finally ship it from Singapore to our farm while the house is still being built. When we were there in December, the posts were already in place and the roofing has been started as well. We used Cogon as our roof because they are said to be sturdier than nipa leaves. As for the main material in the bodega, there are a lot of termites where we are gonnna live so we decided that our bodega/ garage floor will have tiles instead of wood.
We have 7 men working in the construction at the moment, the progress is good that I think it might be ready by the end of the year.
