Summer is really coming. It haven’t really rained for awhile now. I love summer, it’s so nice to go out and feel the warmth of the sun on your skin.
In Holland, it is still cold at this time of year. There would be even storms there all of a sudden. It is actually the start of the spring there but anything could happen.
I am glad I am now living in asia although I must say I do miss the yummy cheeses and the sight of tulips all over during springtime. Going to the fresh produce market every thursday in Bergen op Zoom is also one of my favorite things to do there. In this outdoor market you would find all kinds of stuff, from vegetables, fruits , flowers, cheeses to pans and clothes. Markets are actually a cultural activity in The Netherlands.

The market is actually the place where I met my first filipina friends Naty & Marlene in Holland. Later on I have met more girlfriends through them.It is lonely when you are in a foreign land and don’t know the language. It is difficult to communicate as not everybody there speaks english. I have learned the language after one year of going to school and now speaks it fluently.
