Weekend Blog Follower Caravan#9 – About Me

by Jade on March 12, 2011

This picture was taken 2 years ago when I turned 26. (Oh the good old days :p)

I am Jade aka Pinayjade, aka Momma Wannabe Finally, aka Diva Fabulosa ! I grew up in Novaliches, Quezon City.  I lived more than 4 years in The Netherlands so I speak dutch fluently. I started blogging three years ago when we moved to Singapore. Blogging has brought so many things in my life – friends from around the world, knowledge and some earnings too!

Some tidbits about my us:

I married my husband Jules in 2002 and lived briefly in America. We then moved to Holland and live there for several years. He is my best friend, partner and lover. He is a fun and food loving person like me. He’s Dutch by birth but has a very colorful descendant background – Hungarian, Indian, African, Dutch, Jewish, Indonesian. Our son could easily represent United Colors of Benetton :P ! I love having a multicultural family.

It took us awhile before we could get pregnant. We tried it naturally first but didn’t have any success so we decided to try IVF. That was one heck of a journey. You can read about the roller coaster ride we went through to bring him in to this world at my other blog, MommaWannabeFinally .

The apple of my eye!

We recently moved to Palawan , where we have a farm. We are now living in a house that we have designed ourselves. It’s a dream come true to have a house built to our liking. Where we have our house is in the middle of nowhere, no malls nor supermarkets. It takes a little bit of adjustment but beside from not being able to buy stuff that we want right away, we are very much happy with our life here ( as long as there’s internet connection) .

Although I have more around 10 blogs (yes it was an addiction), I am not as active in blogging as I used to be because my priority is my baby. I still blog whenever my little big boss permits it (read as: when he sleeps)  as it is something I love and keeps me sane.

This is my entry for

your baby is cute. btw, I stumbled upon your site and it’s very interesting.

however, you are mistaken at including your husband’s background being Jewish. I’m Jewish too, and that is a RELIGION and not a race.

thanks.

Mommy Jade, finally I found my way here from WBFC.

One of these days I’ll read your other blog because we are also trying to get pregnant naturally. Unluckily, it’s a total failure for almost 4 years. Maybe it’s time to see a fertility doctor. :-)
