Mexico is a vast country, which receives over 20 million tourists per year. Most of them descend upon Mexico City or the beautiful beach resorts which line the Pacific and the Gulf of Mexico.
But there are a few more unusual Mexico vacations I want to try.
I want to visit the islands near Cancun for spectacular sunsets, iguanas, lagoons and my own private pod of wild dolphins to play with.
In the southernmost state of Mexico, I’ll visit Palenque and head to El Panchan for a laid back hippy hangout in the jungle mist. Here I’ll be near the notable Meso-American ruins, where I can explore caves and waterfalls, and see the jungle location for the movie Predator.
And then for a taste of something a bit more historical, I’ll make sure I swing by the places where Leon Trotsky lived, where Che Guevara met Fidel Castro, and where Frida Kahlo painted her masterpieces.

Well that sounds very very great… at this point all i dream of is sunshine, palm trees, feeling sand on my feet and watching sunset on the beach… anywhere… anytime
