Well to be be honest with you, I never really cared about back ups nor knew the importance of it till I had a problem with my first blog. I had worked so hard in creating my blog, but I did not consider backing up my data. My blog was made unavailable by the free hosting service I was using. I didn’t had any back up on my hard drives and as a consequence I could not move my content to a new blog site of another provider.

I totally agree with you on this because it happened to me. Had I known that my free provider could just disable a blog with no warning, no explanation or even just a chance to be able to save your contents, I would have done a regular backup. Of course now I do but I got so mad and didn’t my other blogs for two weeks.
